Our church is at the south end of Grover Avenue, only accessible from Grover (despite what some electronic maps show) and can be difficult to find if you’ve never been here before. You may want to leave yourself a little extra time to find us the first time or for parking if it’s on a Sunday. Please refer to the Parking directions, the Driving directions, and the Map below — you can zoom in and out with the + and – buttons on the map, and you can move the map around the Austin area by left-clicking-and-dragging it.

Parking directions: We encourage people to take public transport to the church, especially on Sundays – bus numbers 3 and 5 stop about a block away. Parking is available around the church property and on nearby streets. On Sundays, our parking lots fill up quickly, with extra parking available through the generosity of our neighbors at Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI), and the Texas Health Credit Union (THCU). We encourage those who are physically able, to park farther away from the church, in consideration of those who might need spaces closer to the church. TSBVI parking: turn north into their property just east of Burnet Rd , travel to the end of that road and park in the lot to your right. You will see the church on the other side of the fence. Enter the church’s property through a gate on the southeast corner of the church property.

THCU: they are located next to the church – please do not park in the Night Deposit Lane or block ATM access.

Driving directions:

  • From I-35, take the exit for 2222 and head west. 2222 turns into Koenig Lane.

Turn left onto Grover, which is past Lamar and before Burnet. The First Texas Honda lot is to the left on the corner of Koenig and Grover. Grover dead-ends at the church.

  • From Mopac, take the exit for 2222 and head east. 2222 turns into Koenig Lane.

Turn right onto Grover, which is past Burnet and before Lamar. The First Texas Honda lot is to the right on the corner of Koenig and Grover.Grover dead-ends at the church.

Note: The annual 3M marathon occurs each year in January. Part of the race course is on North Loop and and crosses Lamar Boulevard. In order to get around the marathon course, you will need to access the church from Mopac at 45th street.  Once you are on 45th street, turn left onto Burnet Road. Turn right on 49th Street, then right onto Grover. Austin has a few other marathons during that close roads leading to the church. Please consult the newsletter and this web site for up-to-date information on such events which may interfere with access to the church.
