CROP Walk: Our UU team joins with 11,000 other Austinites in raising over $100,000 to help end local and global hunger. The CROP Walk is organized by Interfaith Action of Central Texas and occurs each spring. Churches, mosques, and temples from all over Austin participate.

Green Sanctuary Committee: Committed to integrating earth-friendly practices into our church’s spiritual and physical realms, the Green Sanctuary Committee works on support for recycling, cleaning the solar panels, and conducting a building energy efficiency audit. NAMI Walk: National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is “a volunteer network of families, consumers, friends, and concerned professionals working together to improve the quality of life for those affected by severe and persistent mental illness. Our goal is to enable each individual affected by a major brain disorder to live the best life possible. NAMI Austin provides a place to meet and learn from others and to let others learn from you.” Our church provides support to NAMI by joining or sponsoring the UU Team for the annual fundraising walk in October.
