National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is “a volunteer network of families, consumers, friends, and concerned professionals working together to improve the quality of life for those affected by severe and persistent mental illness. Our goal is to enable each individual affected by a major brain disorder to live the best life possible. NAMI Austin provides a place to meet and learn from others and to let others learn from you.”

Our church provides support to NAMI by joining or sponsoring the UU Team for the annual fundraising walk in October.
