The UUA General Assembly was held from\u00a0June 20 – 23.\u00a0GA is the annual gathering where UUs gather to worship, celebrate, and make decisions.\u00a0 This year GA was completely virtual.\u00a0\u00a0

<\/p>\n

At this year\u2019s General Assembly delegates debated revising Article II of the UUA bylaws, which outlines our UU values and sources.\u00a0 The revision passed with a strong 80.2% positive vote.\u00a0 Delegates also adopted a business resolution\u00a0\u201cEmbracing Transgender, Nonbinary, Intersex and Gender Diverse People is a Fundamental Expression of UU Religious Values.\u201d\u00a0 Three Actions of Immediate Witnesses were approved, addressing climate change, support for Palestinians, and responses to epidemics.\u00a0\u00a0
