Here are his words:<\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">When Someone Deeply Listens to You<br \/>\n<i>John Fox<\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">When someone deeply listens to you,<br \/>\nit is like holding out a dented cup<br \/>\nyou&#8217;ve had since childhood<br \/>\nand watching it fill up with<br \/>\ncold, fresh water.<br \/>\nWhen it balances on the brim,<br \/>\nyou are understood.<br \/>\nWhen it overflows and touches your skin,<br \/>\nyou are loved.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">When someone deeply listen to you,<br \/>\nthe room where you stay<br \/>\nstarts a new life,<br \/>\nand the place where you wrote your first poem<br \/>\nbegins to glow in your mind&#8217;s eye.<br \/>\nIt is as if gold had been discovered!<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">When someone deeply listens to you,<br \/>\nyour bare feet are on the earth,<br \/>\nand a beloved land that seemed distant<br \/>\nis now at home within you.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><b>Reading<\/b><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><i>From an Australian woman who goes by the name Brooke and writes a blog called &#8220;Slow Your Home&#8221;.<\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">You know that your soul has been nourished when you have a feeling of contentment and fullness because someone has handed you something that will sustain you for days.<\/p>\n<hr align=\"center\" noshade=\"noshade\" size=\"4\" width=\"300\" \/>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Text of the sermon is not available.
