Composer Olivier Messiaen, an inmate of the camp, later recalled of the occasion, &#8220;Never was I listened to with such rapt attention and comprehension.&#8221; The story of this music is an inspirational example of freedom and beauty rising in the midst of death and destruction, a fitting story for Easter Sunday.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>Messiaen quartet:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>clarinet: Vanguel Tangarov<\/p>\n<p>violin: Beth Blackerby<\/p>\n<p>cello: Sara Nelson<\/p>\n<p>piano: Bryan Uecker<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Text of this sermon is not yet available.
