Death Cafe

We all have to face our own mortality, so why do it alone? Come join us for a Death Cafe on Thursday, July 30th from 7 – 9 p.m. in Howson Hall, led by Death Doula Mary Connor. Death Cafes are safe and enjoyable places to meet other mortals and normalize discussing our universal human experience: death. This event is for adults only so that the topics we discuss can range freely. Death Cafe is for sharing, not for lectures or belief agendas of any kind. Bring your open mind, your open heart, and your humor.

Death Cafe is a free, volunteer-run worldwide program that creates safe, non-religious meetings for adults to discuss issues around mortality and dying, in accordance with the standards of deathcafe.com. This is not a grief support group, but grief resources will be shared.
