This is your Official Notice for our Spring Congregational Meeting on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 1:00  p.m., to be held in the Sanctuary and on Zoom. 


Meeting Materials

The church bylaws specify the following regarding voting eligibility: “Individuals who have been members of the church for 30 days or more and who have (as an individual or part of a family unit) made a recorded financial contribution during the last 12 months and at least 30 days prior to the meeting, have the right to vote at all official church meetings.”

Thus to be eligible to vote, you must have made a documented contribution between April 22, 2021 – April 22, 2022

On April 24, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in First UU Austin’s Sanctuary and on Zoom, we will hold our Spring Pre-Congregational Meeting.

At the Pre-Congregational Meeting, we will walk through the  agenda and materials, found here.

The Pre-congregational meeting will be held at 1:00 p.m. on April 24, 2022. The purpose of
this meeting is to provide a forum for questions, concerns and clarification of items that
will be presented for a vote at the Congregational Meeting. We will review the agenda with
time for discussion, but no votes will be taken. If you have questions about any of the items
that will be voted on, we encourage you to attend the Pre-congregational meeting or
contact Toni Wegner, Board of Trustees President, at president@austinuu.org.

You may attend either in person in the Sanctuary at 4700 Grover Avenue or by Zoom. Masks are optional.

On December 19, 2021 at 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. in First UU Austin’s Sanctuary and on Zoom, we will hold our Fall Congregational Meeting. Zoom link is: zoom.us/my/firstuuaustin password: 512452

At the Congregational Meeting, we will walk through the  agenda and materials, found here, and take any appropriate votes.

The church bylaws specify the following regarding voting eligibility: “Individuals who have been members of the church for 30 days or more and who have (as an individual or part of a family unit) made a recorded financial contribution during the last 12 months and at least 30 days prior to the meeting, have the right to vote at all official church meetings.”

Thus to be eligible to vote, you must have made a documented contribution between December 19, 2020, and November 19, 2021. Any questions about voter eligibility, if you feel you should be listed but aren’t, et cetera, please contact Rev. Chris Jimmerson, Minister for Program Development,

Materials for the meeting are available HERE. As a reminder, according to our bylaws, a member can vote in a congregational meeting if they meet two requirements. They must have been a member for 30 days or more. And they must have (as an individual or part of a family unit) made a recorded financial contribution during the last 12 months and at least 30 days prior to the meeting at which they wish to vote. The list of eligible voters will be released soon also on the church website, and will be in the announcement for the congregational meeting to be held in May.

This meeting will be via Zoom, the link will be available closer to the date.

This is your official notice for our fall congregational meeting on Sunday, December 15, 2019, 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary.

Copies of the meeting packet are available in the copy room at the church and by online by clicking the following link:Congregational Meeting Materials The voting list has been posted in the copy room at the church. Please check the list and let Rev. Chris Jimmerson know if you have any questions or believe you have incorrectly been omitted from the list. Chris may be reached by email and at 512-452-6168.
